Accesserie to product: ACC Mark II Power Ascender
The secondary rope system (back-up) is essential when using the power ascenders. If any part of the primary rope system carrying system should break then the load is immediately transferred to the secondary rope which together with the Petzl ASAP (EN 353-2) fall arrester provides a fall arrest system. Note that the ASAP must be used together with a shock absorber. Failure to do so can result in lethal injuries.
