If you are a registered ActSafe Power Ascender user you may even borrow an ACC or PME ascender for free in those cases where you can’t be without your power ascender during the service. You may also in urgent cases have the possibility to have the service performed directly by ActSafe; the invoice however will be issued by the local distributor.

Annual Survey

ActSafe power ascenders are approved for personal transportation and must be inspected annually by ActSafe or an authorized ActSafe distributor (national regulation might demand even more frequent inspection, please consult ActSafe or your local distributor). The yearly inspection includes, among other things, control of the grip on the primary rope, how much the winch can lift, the efficiency of the brake and the overload regulator. In short, we make sure your ActSafe Power Ascender is safe to use.
